Alice in Wonderland, an adventure story which I had dreamed since little. Without any prince charming or princess lovely, it speaks about a story of a girl who explores into an unknown world

《爱丽丝梦游仙境》一本从小陪我一起做梦的故事书。我喜欢它跳脱理所当然的公主和王子的情节，单独一个女生闯世界。

Alice's world is filled with a lot of fantasy, talking flowers, an invisible Cheshire cat and Mr Caterpillar who can turn smoke into words, how cool is that!? Her imagination has provided me with an opportunity to expand my creativity.

爱丽丝的世界充满着新奇的花花世界，会说话唱歌的花朵；会隐身术的柴郡猫；会边吸烟边吹出文字的毛毛虫等等。随着爱丽丝的脚步把我的好奇心延伸到了很多的可能性。

Besides a focus on Alice's world, some local flavour was injected - the Kopitiam cup! And I can clearly visualise these two irrelevant elements merging into one.

除了爱丽丝我也想注入少许本土元素-咖啡店的青花杯，在衣服里面。我在传统的青花杯里，看见结合爱丽丝的可能性

During the making of Toffle's artwork, I bought a piece of fabric from a local fabric owner. While I was making my purchase, my eyes were set on a bunch of scrap ribbons hanging on the wall. It was with great delight that the shop owner gave me some of them voluntarily. It was a material that was previously used to band fabric rolls and it comes in 3 colours, but only the Mosaic Blue seems to shout for participation for this project. 

制作Toffle的时候去布行买了一小块布，发现墙角的彩带。这些彩带的前身用来捆绑大批的布，老板见我喜欢很爽快的把它们送给我。刚好是我很喜欢的Mosaic Blue,就这样意外的为我决定了颜色。

A few months ago, at a swap party event, through the exchanging of my gift wrapping skills, I've received a few bags of old clothing. And I found an "old" new canvas - a vintage lace top for this project.

在12月1日的互换手艺活动，我得到Khim带过来的旧衣服来跟我交换礼品包装的手艺。刚好里面有一件我在寻找的米色蕾丝上衣，就这样帮我决定了另一个原料。

This artwork requires you to slow down your pace, like what Alice did in her story, with a curious mind to unveil hidden treasures.

Inspired by: Alice in Wonderland x Kopitiam coffee cup

Material: Used clothing, green ribbon (from fabric shop owner), DMC thread, raffia, beads 

Measurement: Shoulder 37cm, Sleeve: 59cm, Bust 99cm, Waist 94cm, Lenght 57cm

Fabric: 100% Polyester

Total labour time: 74 hours of daylight
